For this month's CONNECTION:
- Listen to an honest, heartfelt conversation with Living Water’s CEO, Jonathan Wiles, and Director of Major Gifts, John Fraunhoffer, as they reflect on their recent time in the Samba community in Kenya—who they met, what they witnessed, and what they’re still holding on to. (~25 min)
- After listening, spend some time in prayer & reflection.
In our latest podcast, Living Water’s Content Development Manager, Valentina Smith, sits with John and Jonathan to reflect on what God is doing in Kenya, the people they met, and the art of holding hope and disappointment.
“…[Theresa] was back the next morning, ready to work. And I asked her, ‘Why?’, you know, ‘What brings you back?’ And it was simple: The water is her responsibility. It always has been, from the time she was a young girl. She just wants it closer for the sake of Lynette and the next generation of girls.” —Jonathan Wiles, CEO, Living Water International
Tune in to meet Theresa, Mary, Jemima, and more of the women already leading in Samba!

PRAYER & REFLECTION
Ask yourself:
- Where do I most feel the tension of the “already and not yet” in this season of my life?
- What would it look like for me to live in this “between” with hope, humility, and honesty?
- What is one thing that I see God is doing right now in the lives of those around me? How can I step in and walk alongside them in this?
Prayer: Holy Spirit, search my heart and reveal me to me. Help me see where I’m struggling to hold on to both expectant faith and disappointment at the same time. Show me what it would look like for me to walk in hope and humility in this season, bringing all my emotions to you, leaning on my community, and letting your grace sustain me. Open my eyes to what you’re doing in the lives of those around me, and the ways you’re inviting me to join you—whether it’s across the ocean or across the street. In Jesus’ name, amen.
