Water is essential to a flourishing life. And yet, 771 million of our global neighbors lack access to safe water. Among them, 122 million still collect drinking water directly from surface sources like rivers, streams, and water holes. Each year, nearly 827,000 people die due to inadequate water, sanitation, and hygiene.
The water crisis targets the vulnerable, the overlooked, and the excluded. Children’s health declines, girls are forced to drop out of school to walk for water, women are excluded from society without proper sanitation, and local economies fail to thrive.
This crisis is too big to solve on our own.
But there is a solution!
We are ending the water crisis by uniting as a global Christian community to bring love and justice to our most vulnerable neighbors. Over the last 30 years, world-changers like you have already transformed the lives of 7 million people around the world.
