Living Water began operations in Uganda in 2010, with the focus of providing clean water sources to primary schools in Ruhaama County through our “Water for Schools” program. The successes and lessons from this program helped Living Water pilot our first WASH Program Area (WPA) in Ruhaama in 2012. In January 2013, an additional WPA was launched in Nyabushozi.
Our WPA approach is focused on bringing significant and measurable improvements in water access, sanitation, and hygiene through long-term investment in a specific geographic region.
Living Water Uganda believes that the best news for communities is not that they can have clean water, but that they can be reconciled with their Creator through Jesus Christ—a message shared through Bible storytelling and making disciples.
