Join me and my community of generous people taking action to end the global water crisis!
Friends, I was introduced to the global water crisis by our church back in 2012. In 2014, I ventured out on my first Well Trip with a group from my church through Living Water International, and it opened my eyes to the true need for access to clean water in so many parts of the world. As a bonus, I had the opportunity to do this with my oldest daughter. We drilled a well for a small agricultural community to provide them with water from a well that was not adjacent to their latrines. The community building that transpired with the those living in that village was life changing. I returned in 2018 with some church friends to drill another well. Wow… another life changing experience. Not so much by the work that we did (which was an awesome experience), but by the relationships that were built. We taught kids how to properly brush their teeth, care for the well and clean dishes to minimize bacterial issues. Water is truly the lifeblood of a community. Without it, kids cannot go to school, either because they have to travel to get water, which is usually dirty and bacteria filled, or they are sick from drinking the contaminated water.
I was planning on traveling back to Guatemala in 2020, however, the Global pandemic changed all that. The pandemic, however, reinforced the need for proper hygiene in these communities and WASH (Water Access, Sanitation, Hygiene). I am traveling back to Guatemala in August of this year and am asking you to consider partnering with me and my team to end the water crisis for yet another community. Please take a moment to consider your part in ending the global water crisis. With your help, it can be achieved. You can donate here for our specific trip or to Living Water International at https://water.cc/donate/.
Living Water International exists to demonstrate the love of God by helping communities acquire desperately needed clean water, and to experience "living water"—the gospel of Jesus Christ—which alone satisfies the deepest thirst.
Did you know? 785 million people around the world lack access to basic drinking services. We can change that together!
Please join me in supporting Living Water International and giving give safe water to those in need. Any amount makes a difference!
· $30 will provide one person with access to safe water.
· $60 will provide one person with access to safe water, life-saving sanitation and hygiene training, and the opportunity to directly hear the gospel message.
· $150 provides a family of five with access to safe water.
The process is fast, easy, and secure. Thanks so much for your support, and please don't forget to send this page to any friends you think might be interested!
