Many small villages dot the Guatemalan landscape, plenty without clean water. Living Water began its short-term trip volunteer program in Guatemala in 2001 to address this need as they share the love of Christ. Our local, national staff and volunteer groups work together to drill new wells and repair broken pumps for communities.
Drilling for clean water is only part of the solution. Hygiene and sanitation classes are necessary to teach women and children how proper sanitation contributes to a community's overall health.
In 2016, 63 volunteer teams are scheduled to travel to Guatemala to engage in this life-giving opportunity.
